FLOWFORMS FOR STIRRING BIODYNAMIC PREPARATIONS RATIO’S
With Bio Dynamic Preparation stirring, the ratio is 1000 litres volume stirred by 50 lpm Flowforms. Hence, a 150 lpm Flowform cascade stirs 3000 litres volume for application. For continuous application and stirring, we suggest two tanks at the base of the Flowform cascade; one being stirred while the other is being sprayed onto the land. Description of Vortex in motion. A Vortex Flowform creates a strongly oxygenating figure 8 rhythmical flow of water, which turns inwards on itself and flow through deep central vortices down into the next Flowform in a cascade series. It creates right hand and left hand vortices which fall into a chaos chamber before flowing into the next rhythmical figure 8 chamber.
1. Stirring passes the Bio-dynamic properties of the preparations into water for application to the land.
2. Preliminary research indicates Flowforms perform better than stirring machines. (Schikorr)
3. Tried and tested for Demeter registration in New Zealand using Flowforms only to stir Preparations.
4. Flowforms do not break down and can be relied on during the stirring process.
5. A Flowform cascade is cost competitive against an equivalent sized mechanical stirrer.
6. TECHNOLOGICALLY seen as a breakthrough in the perception and treatment of water.
7. Rhythmic treatment: Evidence shows that life bearing liquids need rhythms to improve vitality.
8. Oxygenation: Flowforms are efficient oxygenations as well as rhythmisizers.
9. Mixing: Vigorous or gentle mixing can be achieved without any moving mechanisms.
10. Polishing: Water quality improves from natural water action.
11. Precipitation of solids: heavier particles of matter precipitate out in vertical centres.
DAIRYSHED EFFLUENT TREATMENT using FLOWFORMS
Summary of ResultsDesign for Life Ltd has designed and installed several successful dairy shed effluent treatment facilities in NZ over the last few years.
· The dairy shed effluent is oxygenated and enlivened through a thorough vortical figure8 mixing down a cascade of industrial Flowforms.
· This transforms a waste product into an effective liquid fertilizer, easily assimilated by paddocks for the benefit of the soil, grass and cows.
Method: · Use side-by-side concrete rectangular ponds (A and B) built near the cow shed for richer hosings to gravity feed into.
· Weaker hosings sent off down to the ‘MAF” ponds
· Place Flowform cascade on metal stand between the ponds in order that the flow can be pumped up out of and returned to either Pond A or Pond B.
· Have the top end of the stand placed towards the middle of the ponds (between the two if possible). This means the outflow of the cascade will come down near the long end of the tanks. This allows for easy funneling of the flow off to one pond or the other.
· When Pond A is full you treat it while the other Pond B is being filled. When Pond B is filled, Pond A is sprayed out onto paddocks, and treatment through the Flowforms turned over to Pond B. Pond A is refilled during this time. And so forth.
· Use an effluent submersible pump delivering a minimum of 150 lpm to 2 metres above the top of the ponds.
· Experience with water has shown that when flowing it responds best to enlivening treatment out of the sunshine. Run the Flowforms through the night is effective.
FARMERS have said:
· Works easily.
· You can work out how long to treat each pond by the smell and texture, and also the amount of time it takes to fill the adjacent pond.
· No rank growth of grass when treated liquid sprayed onto paddocks.
· Cows can get back onto the paddock within a few days, much faster than when liquid is sprayed out from MAF settlement ponds, which rely only on wind, sunshine and slow internal movement for treatment.
· Some farmers have remarked on no mastitis even with cows eating the grass so early.
· Saving of expense in fertilizing paddocks using this method.
· Help in the environmental management of the water run off on the property.
· Some farmers have added biodynamic catalytic compost preparations into the ponds as well, as this helps it go through its process faster.
BIODYNAMIC PREPARATIONSFor those who also use catalytic Biodynamic Preparations in their farm management system, the Vortex Flowforms can also double up in this function. The Flowform cascade on it metal stand foundations is recommended to be set up so a rectangular tank of the appropriate size can be slid under the bottom Flowform. Then the Flowform cascade can be used (apart from its effluent ponds treatment function) to stir the Preparations for an hour whenever needed. |
